Brock and Bryan Herrera are standing with the client after a successful Indecency with Child verdict. The firm tried the case to a jury over the course of 5 days and a jury returned a great two word verdict “NOT GUILTY.” A lot of credit goes to the client for sticking by his position that he did nothing wrong and that the story was made up. The jury saw through the complainant’s testimony and also took issue with the lack of EPPD investigation. The lead detective testified that he thoroughly investigated the case, however Bryan asked him on cross examination if he meant he had recorded the statement as told by the complainant. To which he agreed he had done nothing more that take down what the complainant had told him without any investigation or questioning.
